Williams joins Kuban from Malaga

Defending Eurocup champion, Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, announced on Monday the arrival of Marcus Williams for the upcoming season.

Williams (1.91 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Unicaja Malaga of Spain, where last season he averaged 10.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 24 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games.

He played college ball in Connecticut from 2003 to 2006 and then he played in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets, the Golden State Warriors or the Memphis Grizzlies.

He also played in Puerto Rico and China. He had also played in Russia before with Unics Kazan and Enisey.
