Ergin Ataman, the head coach of Anadolu Efes, said the EuroLeague is planning to resume the season in the summer.

“The EuroLeague is planning to resume the season in the summer, but first we will need a month of preparation. We will not start immediately, because players need three weeks to get back to shape.

This presents us a risk. We were the fittest team of the season leading both competitions. Will we get back to shape in time? That is the risk. We are going through the process with our players.

Eventually, all players will be equally set at 70 or 80 percent. No players will recover to their previous condition,” Ataman said during an interview with Turkish outlet AKSAM.
