Boki will head to the Catalan capital and Sada re-signs

Veteran scorer Bostjan Nachbar has completed his move to Barcelona from German champions Brose Baskets on a two-year deal.

Slovenian international Nachbar was the second highest scorer in the Euroleague last year, averaging 16 points a contest as he led Bamberg to the Top 16, and he set a club record 35 points in a road defeat to CSKA Moscow.

The 33-year-old has been a frequent European traveller as this will mark the seventh Euroleague club in nine seasons for him.  He is well known to NBA fans also, Nachbar played six seasons and appeared in 18 playoff games for Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets and New Jersey Nets before they moved to Brooklyn. The guard then left the league in 2008 and signed for Russian side Dynamo Moscow, helping them to a Final Eight appearance.

Nachbar last appeared for Slovenia at the 2010 world championships in Turkey and was a contributing factor to the countries fourth placed finish at Eurobasket 2009 in Poland.

Sada re-signs for another two years

This signing was also welcomed with the news that the Catalan side inked a new two-year deal with Spanish international Victor Sada.

After spending the majority of his career at Barcelona, Sada moved to Girona for two seasons between 2006 and 2008, winning the Eurocup in the process. He returned to the Catalan side in 2009 and has won the 2010 Euroleague crown as well as make two Final Four appearances since.
