Barcelona have signed former Olympiacos center Joey Dorsey on a two-year deal, it was confirmed.

Last year’s Final Four participants have added size and experience to their roster as the former Toronto Raptor comes fresh off a strong season in Turkey playing for Gaziantep, where he averaged a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds a game.

Dorsey left the current Euroleague champions Olympaicos last season by announcing that he was fed up with the team’s lack of ability after they were beaten in the regular season by Zalgiris. Following his departure, the Reds went on to win the Euroleague title, beating Real Madrid in London.

The 29-year-old will look to link up with Erazem Lorbek and Ante Tomic amongst others with the Catalan club, who despite owning the best record last season, going into the Final Four in England, finished fourth overall, losing to both Real Madrid in the semi-final and then to CSKA Moscow in the 3rd/4th place game.
