The coaching staff of the Charlotte Hornets found an innovative method to keep the team close during th quarantine time.

In particular, Hornets’ players are watching old Kobe Bryant’s playoff games to learn about the intensity of playoff games, the adjustments made between the games, and the changing landscape of the NBA, per Zach Lowe of the ESPN.

“Basketball culture today is so much about watching specific plays,” head coach James Borrego said. “Guys watch their highlights. They watch edits of their own minutes. This is about studying an entire series, game by game. What can we learn? What adjustments do you see?”

The playoff series the Hornets team is studying now— Nuggets vs. Lakers in 2012, was Bryant’s last playoff series win.
