With the NBA season on pause due to the coronavirus threat, basketball is not the priority for many people around the world. On the other hand, the Minnesota Timberwolves GM Gerson Rosas believes the remaining games are crucial for the team.

“Those [remaining] games are critically important to us. I’ve said it from the beginning, this year is about building identity. It’s building chemistry, building habits, and it is painful. These first 50 games, it was painful to go through the growing pains,” Rosas said, per Minnesota Star Tribune’s Sid Hartman.

The Timberwolves acquired two key ‘pieces’ for the team in February by trading for D’Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley to build a competitive team around Karl-Anthony Towns.
