Report: NBA is reducing base salaries by 20% of around 100 of league office’s top-earning executives

NBA is reportedly taking measures to reduce its losses due to the season suspension. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the NBA is reducing base salaries by twenty percent of approximately one hundred of the league office’s top-earning executives around the world.

Reportedly, the salary reduction will be applied to commissioner Adam Silver and deputy commissioner Mark Tatum, among others.

This salary reduction includes commissioner Adam Silver and deputy commissioner Mark Tatum, sources said. There are no widespread cuts to the rest of organization; no support or administrative staff are impacted. Top executives and senior leaders are first to takes these cuts now
