Teodosic could play at Eurobasket

Serbia’s Milos Teodosic will not require surgery on his injured left calf and might make a return at Eurobasket this summer.

Teodosic is currently in Munich at a specialized clinic and a statement on CSKA Moscow’s website said: “German doctors expressed the opinion that the player does not need surgery”.

The Serb needs to undergo conservative treatment with various types of physical therapy and special rehabilitation,” the statement specified the next steps in the process.

“It is expected that Milos will be able to join basketball practices in two months approximately,” it concluded. Teodosic will now return to Moscow and begin rehabilitation.

Yesterday, the Serbian Basketball Federation announced that head coach Dusan Ivkovic will name his preliminary squad next week and that they are monitoring Teodosic’s progress closely.
