Ann Wauters has returned to Euroleague Women champions UMMC Ekaterinburg for a second spell with the Russian giants.
Wauters played for UMMC for two seasons, in 2009-10 and 2010-11, she then won the Euroleague title with Ros Casares in 2012 after taking time out to become a mother.
The now retired Belgian international spent last season with Galatasaray, averaging 9.5 points and 5.5 rebounds a game. Her side lost though all three contests in last season’s Euroleague Women Final 8, including a 72-44 loss to the Russians.
She has also been a mainstay in the Euroleague Women since the 1998-99 season, Wauters has previously played for CSKA Moscow and VBM-SGAU Samara, and won a Euroleague title with the latter.
