Former Miami Heat assistant coach remembering his team training camp in a military base: “Dwyane and LeBron tried to kill each other”

Former Miami Heat assistant coach David Fizdale joined Brian Windhorst and The Hoop Collective to talk about his fondest memories of the Miami Heat during the Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh era.

He spoke about how the Heat training camp was moved to a military base in Pensacola and it was the best training camp he’d ever seen. When talking about the intensity of it, the coach described it as “Udonis [Haslem] and Chris Bosh tried to kill each other. Dwyane and LeBron tried to kill each other. Every day was a war. And everything that we’ve worked on was defense.”
