Adam Silver, the Commissioner of the NBA, opened up on the ‘economic impact’ the coronavirus crisis will have on the league.

Silver admitted it’s “too soon to tell” what the economic impact is going to be due to the NBA suspension.

“It’s too soon to tell what the economic impact will be. We’ve been analyzing multiple scenarios on a daily if not hourly basis and we’ll continue to review the financial implications. Obviously, it’s not a pretty picture but everyone, regardless of what industry they work in, is in the same boat,” Silver told Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.

The NBA has suspended the season for at least 30 days, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
