Foreign players who left China in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak are heading back, as the CBA is set to return on April 15.

Recently, the CBA announced that foreign players who are under contract in the CBA and refuse to return to China will be banned from the league for three years.

Several players took notice of the warning.

Players who landed or were landing back in China included Eugene “Pooh” Jeter, Kyle Fogg, Arnett Moultrie, Ray McCallum, Donatas Motiejunas, Marko Todorovic and Sonny Weems.

MarShon Brooks was going back this week, Ty Lawson left March 17, Jeremy Lin is headed back soon and Jared Cunningham returned March 18.

Upon returning to China, those players and others will have to quarantine for 14 days to get tested for COVID-19.

The status of other former NBA players Lance Stephenson, Jerryd Bayless and Tyler Hansbrough have not been determined yet.

CBA games will reportedly take place in Qingdao and Dongguan once the season returns.
