Chris Boucher issued an apology for breaking the coronavirus protocol of his team, the Toronto Raptors.

Despite being in self-quarantine for 14 days, Boucher went grocery shopping at a downtown Toronto Loblaws last Thursday.

“While I have tested negative for COVID-19, it was never my intention to endanger our community – I recognize my mistake and have remained self-quarantined since,” Boucher wrote on Instagram, via Blake Murphy of The Athletic.

Toronto released a statement, acknowledging Boucher was in the photo and said he was asymptomatic at the time.
