Sports analyst Stephen A. Smith is convinced that the NBA teams should play the remainder of the season if it is resumed. He rejected the idea of going straight to the playoffs.
It will take time for the players to get back in shape and for team cohesiveness to be rebuilt, Smith explained. With almost a quarter of the season still left to play, the teams would get enough games to get in shape for the playoffs.
