The National Basketball Players Association has reached out to player agents to let them know they fully expect the league’s athletes to continue receiving their salaries in full.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported as much on Saturday evening by means of a tweet.
This follows prior news which disclosed that players had been notified of a special “doomsday provision” that could possibly void owners from paying a percentage of their salaries given the current coronavirus pandemic.
