Sergio Scariolo, the head coach of Spain and assistant coach of the Toronto Raptors, shared his thoughts on the coronavirus outbreak.

Scariolo talked about the decision of the NBA to suspend the season for at least 30 days, while he believes it is unlikely the Olympic Games will take place in the summer.

“Everything is subject more to the general feeling than to the data, but on a personal level, it will be difficult to think about the Olympics being held… I see it as borderline impossible,” Scariolo said in an appearance on El Transistor.

FIBA has already suspended all competitions across the globe, while an official update concerning the 2020 Olympics is now expected.
