Adam Silver confirms NBA season will be suspended ‘at least 30 days’

Adam Silver, the Commissioner of the NBA, confirmed the season will be suspended for ‘at least 30 days’ amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Silver and the league decided to suspend the season after Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for coronavirus.

The NBA commissioner also admitted that canceling the season is also a possibility if the situation gets out of control.

Adam Silver said the hiatus will be "most likely, at least 30 days." Said too soon to know the protocols about resuming play with or without fans whenever that time comes.

Adam Silver was asked if it's possible the season will be canceled.
