Villanova Wildcats’ head coach Jay Wright is interested in coaching an NBA team. Though he likes his current job and doesn’t want to ‘mess with it’.
The two-time NCAA champion has first hand experience working with NBA coaches. Wright coached with Gregg Popovich and Steve Kerr.
“I just love where I am. I’d like to coach in the NBA, I coached last summer with Popovich, I’m coaching the Olympics with Kerr … but I would have to leave my job. I’m happy at Villanova, I love it & don’t want to mess with it.”
