Norman Powell has been playing well lately, starting at shooting guard for the Toronto Raptors with Fred VanVleet out injured. Unfortunately, he rolled his ankle and has been ruled out for the remainder of the Raptors’ game against the Utah Jazz.

Powell came into the game averaging 16.8 points per game, a career high. He also averaged 28 points per game over his previous five games.

Fortunately for the Raptors, VanVleet is close to returning and may be back for their next game. In the meantime, Patrick McCaw and Terence Davis will likely get more playing time.
