Spanish side Joventut Badalona have won the 35th annual Ciutat de L’Hospitalet title to qualify for the Nike International Junior Tournament in London during the Euroleague Final Four in May.
This will be Badalona’s first ever trip to the NIJT after they beat powerhouses Real Madrid 77-67 in the final game.
Gerard Gomila came off the bench to lead the victors with 25 points much to the delight of the Joventut players.
They join KK Spar Sarajevo in London’s youth tournament, which runs from May 9-13, alongside the Euroleague Final Four at the O2 Arena.
