Today, the Lakers and the Clippers will face each other for the third time this season. The Clippers are 2-0 so far this season. Though, the Lakers head coach Frank Vogel says the result will not impact the confidence his team has.

According to him, when the playoffs come, the regular season games have no importance.

“The regular season games, at the end of the day, when the playoffs come around don’t really matter. For us, it’s just about getting better and believing that every time we take the floor, we can beat anybody when we’re at our best. And no matter what happens tomorrow is going to change that,” Vogel said per Melissa Rohlin of Sports Illustrated.

The two Los Angeles sides are currently sitting atop the Western Conference. The Lakers are first with 48 wins and 13 losses, while the Clippers have 43 wins and 19 losses.
