Gregg Popovich shared his thoughts on Kevin Durant and his participation in the 2020 Olympic Games this summer.

The head coach of the San Antonio Spurs and Team USA told reporters he “wouldn’t want to push” the two-time Finals MVP back from his injury to play in the Olympics, per the Associated Press’ Brian Mahoney.

Durant, a two-time gold medalist with Team USA at the Olympics, is missing the entire 2019/20 season with the Brooklyn Nets, recovering from a torn Achilles tendon suffered in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals with the Golden State Warriors.
