Chris Paul was expecting to see Spike Lee to be on his usual sit, when the OKC Thunder took the Knicks last night. Paul had a writing on his sneaker referring to Spike Lee’s movie “do the right thing”, but the award winning director was not present.

Lee claimed he won’t be attending any of the team’s remaining games this season, after Thursday’s incident, in which the famous director and Knicks’ fan was denied access to MSG for using the wrong entrance. He claimed afterwards that he was using this entrance for 28 years.

Chris Paul shared his thoughts on Spike Lee’s absence claiming that he was looking forward to the game against the Knicks because of him.

“I’ve known Spike for a while”, Paul said. “I talked to Spike a couple of days ago and I was actually looking forward to him watching the game. I haven’t played here in two years. Fifteen years I’ve been in the league I might have played here eight times or something. I usually always miss these games. I was excited to see Spike and I didn’t get to see him.”
