Nick Nurse expressed his confidence that forward Andrew Wiggins will play for Team Canada this summer.
The head coach of the Toronto Raptors is also the coach of Canada and believes the forward of the Golden State Warriors will join the team for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in June as well as the Olympic Games in July should Canada qualify.
Wiggins is averaging 20.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists in nine games with the Warriors. Golden State has the worst record in the NBA, at 14-49.
