The Los Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley has a reputation of a tough guy. His life experience prior to turning a pro might have contributed to that. The 31-year-old is known to put his heart out on the court.
Before the game against the Houston Rockets, he reacted to the comments of Russell Westbrook, who said that Beverley is “just running around, doing nothing”.
“Regardless of whether you like me or don’t like me, you’re gonna respect me because I’m gonna go out there and leave it all on the line and I’m gonna try to get as many wins as possible. My team, they know that.”
