The full announcement reads as following:
Due to the confusion created following the end of the game played today between BC Khimki Moscow Region and Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul regarding the last made field goal, Euroleague Basketball would like to clarify that as stated by the Official Basketball Rules as well as the Regulations of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague competition approved by the Euroleague Commercial Assets Shareholders meeting , the red LED lighting around the perimeter of the backboard takes precedence over the game clock signal sound to indicate the end of the period.
