Paul George admits he is still ‘a work in progress’ for the LA Clippers, as he has played in only 39 games this season, due to injuries.
“I’m a work in progress. It’s been a tough year being injured. Being in the rotation, being out of the rotation. And then just playing in a whole new system, new players, new teammates, new coaches, new playing style. So it’s been a bit of an adjustment for me,” George said, via Royce Young of ESPN.
George is averaging 21.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists this season. The Clippers are second in the West with a 42-19 record.
