Real Madrid gets rights to Rafael Hettsheimeir

CAI Zaragoza and Real Madrid reached an agreement that will enable Rafael Hettsheimeir to move to the Spanish capital. The 26-year-old Brazilian forward was wanted by Los Blancos since last season after good performances in Liga Endesa.

Real Madrid will be the fifth team in Spain for Hettsheimeir, who moved to Spain in 2005. Last season he averaged 13.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game for CAI Zaragoza.

The Spanish giants could use a 2.08 m player since there are only three players on Real Madrid‘s roster who are taller or as tall as Hettsheimeir.

Hettsheimer was also a member of the Brazil national team. The last time he represented his country was in 2011 FIBA Americas Championship.
