Spanish duo share MVP spoils

Caja Laboral’s Fernando San Emeterio and Real Madrid’s Rudy Fernandez have been named co-MVP’s of week three in the Euroleague.

The two Olympic silver-medallists led their respective teams to road victories as San Emeterio posted 18 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals to front Caja Laboral to a 95-85 come-from-behind win over EA7 Milano in Italy, while Fernandez, previously with the Portland Trailblazers and Dallas Mavericks hit 21 points, five assists and three steals in his side posted a vital 83-75 win on the Asian side of Istanbul over Fenerbahce.

Both players amassed an index rating of +30 in week three.

Despite being on the losing side, EA7 Milano’s Ioannis Bourousis’ 22 points and 11 rebounds earned him an index rating of +27 to finish a close third.
