The Los Angeles Lakers have just cut Troy Daniels and are looking for the latest piece to add to their league list.
There are just over 20 games left to finish the season, the arrival of a new player will have time to adapt to the Lakers system before the playoffs. But, what are the candidates for the Lakers? Here are a few:
J.R. SMITH
Former LeBron James teammate, he was one of the key players in Cleveland‘s splendid years. Despite his age, Smith is still making a difference, especially with the three-shot and has also improved in defense.
ALLEN CRABBE
Crabbe was recently cut after failing to make any sort of impact since signing his great contract. It is a bit unfair to judge Crabbe off the money he was paid since he has only one above-average skill which is a three-point shooting. He is the ideal substitute for Smith in the three-shot, but it would also bring greater physicality to the Lakers.
DION WAITERS
Market rumors say the Lakers want him, they chose him. He is a player with a great ability to create his own shot, he can be the winning weapon of the Lakers. However, the behavioral factor must be taken into account. Waiters, in fact, recently had several problems in the locker room.
JAMAL CRAWFORD
He’s still a free agent and we don’t know the reasons. He can still light it up from the perimeter. His shooting ability, and especially the three-point shot, can be ideal for Lakers. Also, given his experience, he could soon become a locker room leader.
