Before the end of the trade deadline, the Houston Rockets parted ways with center Clint Capela who was traded to the Atlanta Hawks. This move marked the beginning of the Rockets’ small-ball.

The transition appears to be successful thus far. As StatMuse observed, Houston is 10-2 since going 6’7″. Additionally, they are:
– 1st in W% (tied with Bucks)
– 3rd in offensive rating
– 4th in point differential

In addition, small-ball unleashed Russell Westbrook. Over the last 7 games, he’s averaging 35 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists.

Th Rockets are currently fourth in the West, just a single win behind the Clippers.
