Ja Morant was impressive against the Lakers helping the Grizzlies end a 5-game skid (88-105). Morant finished the contest with 27 points along with a career-high 14 assists and 6 rebounds.
After the game, the rookie dedicated his performance to a twitter user, who wrote that “he doesn’t have that fire in his eyes no more”.
“I’m thankful for this guy who tweeted and said I don’t have that fire in my eye no more. That game right there was for him.”
