The Houston Rockets secured a narrow overtime victory over the Boston Celtics, 111-110, behind 41 points from Russell Westbrook. This was the sixth straight win for the Rockets, who are fourth in the West, closing in on the Clippers and Nuggets.
Since coach Mike D’Antoni switched to small-ball, Russ has been thriving. Over the last 7 games, he’s averaging 35 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists.
D’Antoni stressed one quality that Westbrook has – it’s his heart. “You can’t go to the supermarket and buy heart. He has it,” the Rockets coach said.
