Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) season has started. In the first game of the season Palanga had to play against champions Zalgiris Kaunas and shamefully lost by 42 points (59-101)
Mindaugas Kuzminskas (12 rebounds) and Mario Delas (5 rebounds) scored 18 points each. Tadas Klimavicius added 10 points and 7 rebounds.
Palanga had its top scorer in Marcus Relphorde, who scored 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Only other player who scored in double digits for Palanga was Mantas Mockevicius. 19-year-old guard got 15 points and 3 assists.
