Sports analyst Nick Wright thinks the Clippers not playing together in the regular season will hurt them in the playoffs. The team’s superstar Kawhi Leonard has played 45 games this season, missing 13 games.

Paul George missed even more games – he played just 36 out of the Clippers’ 58 games. Meanwhile, Patrick Beverley missed 16 games.

“This is where the Clippers are going to have a very rude awakening come the postseason. Not playing in the regular season, not getting in rhythm, not getting in flow, not getting the best seed possible, can hurt your ability to play in those NBA Finals games,” Wright said.

The Clippers are currently third in the West with 39 wins and 19 losses, one win behind the Nuggets and one win above the Rockets.

If the playoffs were to start today, the Clippers would face the Jazz and would have a homecourt advantage.
