Stephen Jackson revealed that Don Nelson knew he was smoking during his days with the Golden State Warriors.
“When I came to the team, I was already smoking. I had hooked up with Matt (Barnes) and he was the one who was already smoking over there. Me and Matt had hooked up instantly. (Marijuana) just went through the team.
Me and Don Nelson stayed in the same building. I stayed on the 11th floor. He stayed on the roof. I had the whole building smelling like weed. He definitely knew. As long as we were playing well, he didn’t give a f*** what we were doing,” Jackson told Tom Haberstroh of NBC Sports.
