After losing eight of their last 12 games, the Utah Jazz are changing things up by moving Royce O’Neale into the starting lineup for Mike Conley.

O’Neale is expected to replace Conley in tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics.

Conley has dealt with injury and has struggled with his shot at times this season and is averaging 13.4 points and a career-low 4.1 assists per game.

Shams Charania and Tony Jones of The Athletic note that Conley will continue to play a “significant role” for the Jazz, and he will play often down the stretch as the team looks to lock up their playoff spot.

O’Neale has already started 48 games this season.

The Jazz have recently faced some defensive issues, so O’Neale will provide a much needed spark to the lineup.

Having O’Neale back in the starting lineup will also allow Joe Ingles to be the primary playmaker in the offense.
