If not, the Olympics will likely get cancelled instead of being moved to another location.
Olympic Basketball tournament is scheduled to take place between 25 July and 9 August. Japan, Nigeria, Argentina, United States, Iran, France, Spain and Australia are already qualified.
Twenty four more teams will battle for the 4 remaining spots in four FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournaments that will take place from 23 to 28 June in four cities: Victoria (Canada), Split (Croatia), Kaunas (Lithuania) and Belgrade (Serbia).
