Paul Pierce recalled his days with the Boston Celtics and talked about his feelings after winning the 2008 championship vs the LA Lakers.
“Dude, that was a dream come true. Kid from L.A., Inglewood, play in Boston, goin’ to the championship vs. the Lakers. And then get the MVP vs. Kobe? That was like — whew, man,” Pierce said on a recent Knuckleheads podcast with Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles.
Apart from the NBA title (4-2 vs the Lakers), Pierce also won the Finals MVP.
