Kendrick Perkins: “Jayson Tatum overnight went from an All-Star to possibly being in the MVP conversation”

Jayson Tatum exploded with 41 points against the Los Angeles Lakers, repeating his career high. The Celtics narrowly lost the game by two points (112-114).

Former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins was impressed by the 21-year-old forward. He went as far as to say that Tatum overnight night went from an All-Star to possibly being in the MVP conversation.
