Front-runner for the Rookie of the Year award, Ja Morant, talked about Luka Doncic who won the award last season. The young Memphis Grizzlies star called Doncic ‘a special talent’.
Morant further explained why: “He can score from all three levels and he gets his teammates involved,” per Mavericks’ Dwain Price:
“He’s a great player and a special talent,” Morant said. “He can score from all three levels and he gets his teammates involved.”
This season Doncic is averaging 28.9 points, 9.5 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game. Tomorrow he will be making his first NBA All-Star Game appearance.
