Canada made short work of Mali in the final game of day one in Ankara, winning 89-23 at the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

The game was over in the first quarter when Canada raced to a 22-6 lead after ten minutes.

Mali only hit two field goals in the entire second period and were held scoreless for the last five minutes as Canada further extended their advantage to 46-10 at half-time.

Canada eased off offensively but still held Mali to just four points again in the third, leading 65-14 heading into the fourth.
