The Boston Celtics announced they will be retiring Kevin Garnett’s number 5 during the 2020-2021 season. KG won the NBA title in 2008 with the Celtics. But, the biggest part of his career was spent in Minnesota.
Former basketball player and Garnett’s teammate in Boston, Kendrick Perkins, was critical of the Timberwolves for not retiring the jersey of The Big Ticket first.
“Losing culture starts all the way up top. Little stuff like that is the reason why things are the way they are,” Perk tweeted:
