After the departure of Oktay Mahmuti, Ergin Ataman becomes the new head coach of Galatasaray Medical Park.
“Team president Unal Aysal told me that they want to compete for the top, both in Turkey and Europe” said Ataman. “I’m honoured to be a part of this project. We have agreed on a three-year deal.”
Besiktas Milangaz will play in Euroleague next season but the club is dealing with financial problems. After winning three titles, including FIBA Eurochallenge Cup, Ergin Ataman had given the board some time to solve the sponsorship issues. Their inability to solve the problems caused Ataman to leave the club.
Galatasaray Medical Park will play in Eurocup next season.
