According to Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix, the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers are “expected to check in” on Tyler Johnson. Both Los Angeles-based teams are looking for an addition to their rosters since their former target Darren Collison decided not to come out of retirement. Johnson was on the last of a four-year deal he had signed with the Miami Heat. The Phoenix Suns bought out his contract after the trade deadline.

Johnson, a hardworking combo guard, averages 10.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists throughout his career.
