Khryapa signs a 2+1 extension

Forward Victor Khryapa (29 years, 203 cm) signed new contract with CSKA. The club announced the 3-year agreement during the press-conference today.

Andrey Vatutin, CSKA President:

“Over the years with us Victor has shown he is a real army man, a man of iron. Without going into details, I can say that Victor had a difficult sickness just before the Euroleague Final Four, and the fact that he found the strength to play, and he played well, is not even a surprise. Once again, you can take your hat off to him, though, of course, I should also thank the doctors who did everything possible to help him recover. I am very pleased that we continue to work together.”

Victor Khryapa, CSKA forward:

“I would like to thank everyone in CSKA for four great years here. I believe that the cooperation has been successful for both the club and for me, so we decided to sign a new agreement. I am very pleased to be a part of the future of CSKA. I think it is an honor that must be earned.”
