NBA teams continue making roster improvements past the trade deadline. According to ESPN’s Bobby Marks, the Golden State Warriors are signing Marquese Chriss to a two-year contract.

Warriors signed Chriss on October 1, 2019, but waived him on January 7 of this year to make room for two-way contract player, Damion Lee, who was given a guaranteed contract for the remainder of the 2019–20 season.

Chriss averaged 7.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, earning respect from teammates, including Steph Curry, and coaches. The Warriors faced a hard cap that prevented them from keeping both Lee and Chriss. On January 15, the Warriors re-signed Chriss to a two-way contract.
