Olympiacos captain Vassilis Spanoulis will have a season-ending ankle surgery in the coming days, as the “Reds” announced.
Spanoulis suffered a tendon rupture in the right ankle in the game against Zalgiris Kaunas and will have surgery to repair the damage.
He will remain out of action for the next four to five months and will miss the remainder of the season.
