Jordan have announced a 20-man preliminary squad as they prepare for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Caracas, Venezuela.
Last year’s surprise FIBA Asia runners-up and conquers of Iran in the same tournament will start their bid for London against Greece on July 2nd.
They competed in the 2010 world championships in Turkey, but finished 23rd out of the 24 teams involved. Jordan finished with a 0-5 record joining Canada and Tunisia in last position.
