The combination of Kemba Walker, Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum has been ELECTRIC. I mean, you leave one of those names open and the Celtics could burn you every offensive possession for a bucket.
It’s a masterclass of a roster, the Celtics have a little bit of everything on their plate. Just last night, with the absence of Kemba Walker – Hayward, Brown and Tatum combined for 73 points, more than half of the Celtics total points (123).
Jayson Tatum led the way with 28 points, followed closely by Gordon Hayward with 24 and Jaylen Brown with 21. They were on the road against the Hawks, who show immense promise at points – led by the second year guard out of Oklahoma Trae Young.
The Eastern Conference is definitely not a runaway for anyone, so it will be quite interesting to see where the Celtics, Bucks, Sixers and Raptors end up towards the end of the season.
